Forget about your job, about the rent of your flat which is ridiculously high, about that girl, who you have never met again, and about the guy, who used to be your best friend and now is living with her. Just have a beer, some ice tea, put on some lip stick or whatever you enjoy, set foot on the dance floor, nod your head, start to smile and let the groove take hold of you. And now, even if you think that this is a freaking hippie vision, be aware that there are some people all over the world who enjoy exactly the same rhythms as you do just now.
One of them is Thabo. The Z¸rich based DJ and producer contributes an irresistible part to this worldwide community. His releases like Take Root on the renowned Drumpoet Community Label and the Downstream EP on Ornaments from Berlin brought a new enthusiasm to the clubs and playlists of all those who share Thabos appetite for deep beats and throbbing grooves. As a member of Soultourist – a collective which was formed by Ron Shiller, Foster, Big Clap and Thabo in 2004 – he plays his part in producing remixes for people like Craig Smith and The Revenge, Jamie Lloyd and many more as well as various highly acclaimed Soultourist releases, creating a buzz on dance floors all around the globe.
